The study of scribal Paleographical is crucial for understanding Ancient Egyptian Scripts. The scribe Ennena is considered one of the most significant scribes of the Ramesside period due to his distinctive style in writing Literary and Teaching texts. Conducting a paleographic study of an important scribe like Ennena, who lived from the reign of king Merneptah to the reign of king Sethosi II, helps in identifying the scribal methods used at the time and determining the locations of scribal schools, whether they were in the royal residence in Pi-Ramesses in the eastern Delta, in Memphis, or in Thebes. Six papyri are attributed to Ennena, which were certainly written under the supervision of his master "Qagboi" the scribe of the treasury Pharaoh. Three of them contain literary texts: The D’Orbiney Papyrus (which includes The tale of the Two Brothers), Anastasi VII papyrus (which contains The Teachings of Khety son of Duauf, and The hymn to the Nile),Sallier II papyrus (which includes The Teachings of Amenemhat I to his son Senusret, another copy of The Teachings of Khety son of Duauf, and The hymn to the Nile). The other three papyri are known as miscellanies, which were used for student training in scribal schools: Anastasi IV, Anastasi VI and Koller Papyrus. These copies contain various topics that overlap with those found in other papyri written by different scribes, indicating the widespread use of certain instructional texts in scribal schools of that era.
