The region of Asia Minor witnessed many conflicts that raged between the Seljuq Rum, Byzantine Empire, Armenians, and the Islamic powers, to gain new lands and properties, which was reflected dependently on the economic conditions in the region, as well as the Crusades Troops coming from Western Europe, which It has become a threat to security and peace in Anatolia, which negatively affected the political and economic conditions in the region. In this research, we try to shed light on the political and economic conditions during the reign of Sultan Mesut I (512-551 AH / 1116-1155 AD) and Sultan Gıyâseddin Keyhüsrev I (first period 588-593 AH / 1192-1196 AD) (second period 601-608 AH / 1204-1212 AD), and this affected the monetary policy of each of them, which had the greatest impact in empowering the Sultanate of the Seljuq Rum in Anatolia, and prosperity of economic life following the influx of trade caravans coming to Asia Minor.
